A FORTNIGHT ESCAPE TO MALAYSIA

   A Fortnight escape To Malayasia

We started our journey by night flight to kuala lampur and landed around 4 in the morning. After a layover of 3 hours we got in a flight to Langkawi. This travel was very shortlived but lives rent free in my mind as it was extremely special. It felt like we never flew to big heights. We could directly see the deep blue ocean and vast green land beneath us for the entire duration of 45 mins. On landing we took a Taxi to our hotel, got refreashed and started our city tour.

A day in the legendary land of Langkawi

Langkawi , an archipelago of Malaysia is very special for it's natural beauty with a mix of heritage. The city has a warm and welcoming air with cool breeze. The island has lush greenery mixed with excellent architecture. The iconic statue of brown eagle which is their symbol grabs your attention. Next we visited the renowned hanging bridge. It was very thrilling to walk through the hanging bridge due to its height and its glass placement. Many poeple were eagerly taking pictures , viewing the picturesque scenary. we also told a family photo on the bridge.

                                                                                                           A stop by Ipoh

Ipoh , well known for its olden architecture. It has one of the world's best railways station architectures. Also the city is renowned for its mural and wall arts. All the streets had different types of wall paintings. They ranged from extremely humangous sketches to tiny colourful abstract designs. And this place has a special coffee which is organic and famous for a long period.

                                                    A visit to Harmonious Penang

Next we landed in Penang , the city with cultural diversity and a tinge of history. This place showcased the ancient roots of malaysia as a whole. The buildings , roads , hotels are still intact remains of the olden era that are still being used. Even the food and people give a feel of ancient culture .This place is a relic in itself . It is an exceellent place of choice for people who are into the historical and archieological facts.

The twins - Cyberjaya and Putrajaya

These are the nation's twin cities - Cyberjaya and Putrajaya  well known as the cyber and administrative hub. The builidings here are of great architecture and design which makes it stand out in terms of both modernisation and preservation of heritage. The infrastructure and cleanliness of the entire city needs appreciation.

Next stop to magical Melakka

After a great fest to the eye at the twin cities we again travelled back in time to the city of multi hertiage, Melakka. This I would say must be called as the either the Pink - Red city or as the city of windmills. Never have I ever come across such infrastructure. All thanks to the mixed influence from portugese , british and the islamic heritage we could witness such architecture. The city had colourful and tasty food, among which the ice cream I had was very different and delicious.

The bustling and energetic city - Kuala Lampur

A modern city having a wide range of activities ranging from batu caves to the upside down house is a must have expirience. We visited the famous and largest bird park and saw diverse avian population. All these birds ranged from colourful with big wings, extremely tiny beautiful birds to monochrome, huge , dangerous scavengers. Also on our way we visited the national park that had various wildlife animals which was very lively. Ofcourse we did not miss paying a visit to the top deck of the Petronas twin towers. It was amazing to view the skyline and we clicked lot of pictures. Since it was night time we could witness how brilliant and enchanting the nightscape was. we even went to the KL tower that provided a panoramic view of the city. It was exhilarating and mind blowing to take snaps at the upside down house and the 3D illusion museum.
